We are a fantastic rural primary school, located in a village on the outskirts of Launceston. We have currently have 44 children on role split between three classes. Although a small school, we are passionate in providing a rich, inspiring and aspirational education to all, in a nurturing environment where children truly are at the heart of every decision made.
We are very proud of the amazing outdoor spaces that we have at Boyton Primary. The school community has access to an impressive playing field attached to the school, with climbing equipment and outdoor learning opportunities. We also have a scooter track that all children get to use at breaktimes.
Butterflies class is for our Early Year Foundation Stage children, ages 2 - 4. These children are taught by Mrs Gilman and supported by Miss Brine. Two year olds are welcomed to our nurturing early years provision. Year 1, 2 and 3 children are taught by Mrs Davies and Mrs Elliott in Class 1 and Years 4, 5 and 6 are taught by Miss Kinver in Class 2.
In 2019, Ofsted graded the school as 'Good'. All staff at Boyton are committed in ensuring every child as the opportunity to achieve their very best, regardless of their starting point, in all aspects of their school life.
