Welcome to Boyton Primary
We are a fantastic rural primary school, located in a village on the outskirts of Launceston. We currently have forty-nine children on role split between three classes. Although a small school, we are passionate in providing a rich, inspiring and aspirational education to all, in a nurturing environment where children truly are at the heart of every decision made.
We are very proud of the amazing outdoor spaces that we have at Boyton Primary. The school community has access to an impressive playing field attached to the school, with climbing equipment and outdoor learning opportunities. We also have a scooter track that all children get to use at breaktimes.
Acorns class is for our Early Year Foundation Stage children and Year 1s. These children are taught by Mrs Newbery and supported by Mrs Walker. Year 2, 3 and 4 children are taught by Mrs Gilman in Birch Class and Years 5 and 6 are taught by Mrs Davies and Miss Kinver in Chestnut's class.
